Cowra Dance Factory is Cowra's largest dance and performing arts school. Offering classes in Ballet, Dance and Drama with fully qualified and professional teachers.
The teachers at CDF are enthusiastic and passionate about what they teach. They are fully qualified and experienced in their area. We also have student teachers who work alongside the teachers to give the younger students an extra helping hand. Our students will have the opportunity to work with guest teachers from the performing arts industry.
At CDF we follow the syllabus guidelines of recognised institutes. The classical ballet teachers teach according to the outcomes of the Royal Academy of Dance. The tap syllabus used is Glenn Wood Tap.
The studio at CDF boasts a wall mounted barre, polished wooden flooring, full-length mirrors, a sound system, as well as a parent-viewing window. The waiting room offers a safe area for the students and parents with tea and coffee making facilities and toys for the younger siblings.
Throughout the year, CDF students are offered performance experience at eisteddfod’s, fetes and other town events. The Cowra Dance Factory’s annual Showcase, held in December each year, is another way the students can show off what they have learnt throughout the year to all their family and friends.
